CLEMENTINE JELLY

If you are looking for a fresh ad light dessert for the end of year meals this is for you. 

 

1 kg clementines (or tangerines)

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 g agar agar (or check on the packaging how much you’ll need for 500 ml)

 

Cut the clementines in halves and squeeze them (you should get approx. 500 ml juice). Filter the juice and add it with all the other ingredients into a pot. Bring everything to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring well to dissolve the agar agar. Remove from the heat and pour it into little glasses. Store in a cool place and then in the refrigerator to let the jellies solidify. Before serving, decorate as you like.
